Skincare For The Flu

In case you haven’t heard me bang on about it enough, last week I was really ill withe the flu. It was awful – it takes a lot for me to down tools, stop work and call in the big guns (i.e. Grannie) for help – and I was in bed for close to a full week.

So yesterday, to celebrate my re-entry (ish, I’m still pretty snotty) into the human race, I decided to make a video to highlight all the lovely products that have been getting me through the awful time of flu. And also because I’ve become a bit addicted to A Model Recommends videos. Though she seems to be lots better at recalling accurate prices for the products she talks about…

So here you go! Skincare to get you through the nasty nasty flu, with links below:

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, £26.
Decleor Brightening Oil,  £29.
The Sanctuary Therapist’s Secret Oil, £18.25.
Caudalie Polyphenol C15 fluid, £29.
Caudalie Polyphenol C15 eye cream, £26.
Darphin 8 Flower Oil Cream, £65.
Darphin 8 Flower Elixir Oil, £95.
Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm, £36 (currently 20% off at Waitrose).

Love Caudalie – that’ll always make you feel better :-) Have you tried Happinose? It’s a bit gentler than Eight Hour cream on a fluey nose, and has rosemary to soothe and menthol to help clear your head. Hope you continue to feel better, from a long time lurker.
