Olay Regenerist Whip: The Time-Saving Moisturiser

Sometimes I wonder if I’m reaching a time in my life where I have – shock horror – skincare exhaustion. Sure, I adore nothing more than once in a while pottering around in my bathroom for hours playing with my lotions and potions, but day-to-day I just want to know my low-maintenance skincare works.

The thing is, as much as I’d like to spend my mornings on a thorough skincare regime, it’s just not practical. And if I’m realistic, a quick cleanse, tone and moisturise is probably as in-depth as it’s going to get. Along with a serum if I forego my morning coffee to claw back a precious three minutes.

But do I want to wear a serum or do I want to stay awake all day?

Which is why, as I refine and hone my skincare routine, I try to use fewer products that are as wholly good for my skin as possible, products that do their job with no muss and no fuss. And my moisturiser is the latest skincare essential I’ve turned my attention to, which is where my new Olay Regenerist Whip comes in.

Olay Regenerist Whip – a review

When it comes to my moisturiser I am a bit of a fusspot. In an ideal world I’d have a languid two hours to complete my skincare regimen: leaving time between each layer of product to let each and every one sink in so I don’t get too greasy. Two hours would be about perfect for this – somewhat longer than the pre-school run time slot I actually have.

As it is I end up rushing about, slapping on toner followed by a swift layer of oil and moisturiser, sticking my make-up straight on top (which usually means it’s slicked off come 3pm).

Olay Regenerist Whip is a brand-new product to change this: from the skincare legends (and scientists) behind the beauty brand with arguably one of the most prestigious heritages around. It’s their biggest launch in ten years and a moisturiser that’s been co-created with 15,000 women, with our busy and demanding lifestyles at the core of its ethos.

It’s a moisturiser that’s gorgeously whipped – hence the name ;) – and feels as light as air when applying to the skin. Immediately absorbed on application,Olay Regenerist Whip doubles as a primer and there is literally no wait needed to apply foundation and makeup smoothly on top, and without that 3pm re-application needed. Music to my time-strapped ears!

Olay Whips Regenerist review

Olay Regenerist Whip is a game-changing life-saver: not only does it work efficiently and timely, but it reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and it’s super hydrating. Active Rush Technology transforms from cream to liquid on skin, instantly delivering a shot of hydration where needed (it can carry 1000 times its weight in hydration!).

It’s been really wonderful to use such a high-performing product that delivers what I need: top-notch skincare in a time-efficient way, that leaves no sticky or greasy residue behind and acts as a beautiful base for my make-up.

I’ve been using the Olay Regenerist Whip version, but it also comes in Luminous and Total Effects variations, with or without SPF.

You can get your own shot of Olay Regenerist Whip for £34.99 online and in-store at Superdrug.

Thanks to Olay for working with MTT!

  2. As I suffer from oily skin, greasy moisturisers are a big no-no for me, so this looks perfect and also is it just me, but there’s something about the word ‘whip’! Just makes me think of a luxurious product!
