I Was Wrong

Here’s the thing about me: I don’t often admit I was wrong. This might be because I am rarely wrong, just ask my husband – it’s true, so I don’t like to do it. That’s why you have to make the most of this:

I was wrong.

I changed my blog layout and I’ve been feeling funny ever since. The blog layout I changed to wasn’t ‘me’, it was busy and had lots of parts and in a nutshell made my brain confused. It detracted away from the main reasons I blog, which is for the writing, the photos, the community and the sharing. I had to shrink my photos which made me sad, I love my photos.

So I’ve changed again. I’ve reverted back to the good ol’ favourites of yellow and pink. I’ve brought back my lovely cursive font and taken away the busyness. I’m keeping the navigation and other bits of old theme goodness but I’m back down to two columns. Plus I now know I can code CSS whilst breastfeeding… life skills, what what!

I hope you like it but if you don’t it doesn’t matter. This time I know I’m right.

PS: That photo up there has nothing to do with  this post, but come on – how cute are my kids?

PPS: Please excuse any wonky photo formatting over the next couple of days. Normal service will be resumed shortly!

I like it better like this too. (Though I think most people totally understand if you need to get a bit more money back out of it all by changing things about a little, it’s so nice to have the extra space for photos and stuff in the middle!) xo

  4. This is very plain, me likes! I liked the other one as well – but I get where you said it was too busy. I am always tempted to introduce a 3rd column; but then stay away from it because I find it too distracting.

Love this… it looks beautifully simplistic. Pretty and simple… just like you – haha, I kid!

I’ve been feeling a similar way about my blog, it’s driving me nuts. Too much going on, I loved it for all of 2 weeks! xx

Well I have to say that I love ALL your blog layouts but I’m hopelessly rubbish at this blog malarky. I’m very envious of how gorgeous this place is! In fact, I think you should share your wisdom because I totally want to steal your ideas ;)

I love this new layout – I agree the one before was a bit busy. The most important thing is that you are happy with it!

Thank you for another informative site. Where else could I get that kind of info written in such a perfect way?
I have a project that I’m just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such info.
