What do you do when your one year old kid starts to dress better than you?
This baby rocks Ralph Lauren, Dior, Kenzo, Brora and Burberry for special occasions, and GAP, John Lewis and Zara for day-to-day. Her wardrobe is insane and I’m more than a little jealous.
She is utterly gorgeous! – her great dress sense must be a reflection on her mummy!
xo
Thank-you!
(PS: great name)
We have that problem too… that and the issue that I’m now shopping for three rather than just me
oh yes – the shopping!
To be honest, before I had Elfie I had a couple of mums tell me that I would no longer feel the urge to buy for myself and I’d only want to shop for her. Not true. I just want more, more more!
Get used to it. Seriously. My daughter has all these “outfits”, designer, chic, and her mum walks around wearing the same jeans for a week!
Hrm, just did a quick survey on our household: E is wearing a Le Petit Bateu top and GAP dungarees. I am wearing American Apparel leggings (size too big) and an H&M jersey dress. Totally true.
Oh my god I have exactly the same theme as this in mind for a blog post!! My baby girl is just the same – she has an incredible wardrobe of amazing clothes and mine is seriously lacking!! She’ll be making me walk 10 steps behind her out of shame (once she can walk that is)!!
Once again a gorgeous collection of photos of Elfie – she is too cute!
Xx
Thank you! I’m not sure if anyone out there does mummy and daughter clothing line – a gap in the market perhaps??! Then I can dress as well as Elfie… xx
Aw she is beautiful… and has great style… must get it from her mum. Love that first seahorse romper suit – they should do those for adults! (There goes the jumpsuit obsession again!) x
Isn’t it great! I have to admit that she can get away with slightly louder prints than me these days… x
As I’ve said before Alice, Elfie would look good in a dish-rag.
I totally agree! :)
