Increasingly I’m noticing how popular flexible working is. Not just in my circle of work colleagues but within friends and family too: it’s really refreshing to see how many are shunning the confines of the 9-5 for a more family-friendly and flexible way of being employed.
Certainly in my situation I couldn’t do it any other way. At least, not without missing my children terribly and paying out extortionate costs for childcare. I need to work flexibly for my kids, my wallet – and my sanity!
One of the hardest things to do when I started working for myself was find clients who were happy with my flexible working arrangement. When you embark on your freelance working lifestyle, finding the actual work is the hardest part: but lucky for us we live in the age of the internet where just about anything is possible (if you have Deliveroo you’ll know what I mean ;).

On Coople you’ll find all kinds of work, from office admin, event management, retail, reception, customer service as well as positions in the hospitality industry, too. You’ll be paid weekly and are never under any obligation to accept work.
When a job comes up you’ll be notified if it fits your requirements, including geographical and time availability. You select to be considered for a position and if all goes well the employer will agree your suitability and bobs your uncle! You’re working.
