How Do Polar Bears Get White?

One of the best things about moving house has been the washing machine. Go with me on this one.

In our old house we were slave to our landlord’s rickety machine that I’m sure was older than me. It was that yellow-y colour that comes with really old appliances that you know were once white, a teeny 4k drum and was LOUD. For one who counts laundry as her favourite chore it was pretty hard going. Wah wah wah :’(

So when we arrived at our new house I was overjoyed to reclaim my 8kg 1200rpm wonder from my parent’s garage. OVERJOYED. And let’s not even mention the tumble dryer that I got back because I may just go into spasms of joy right here, right now. Let’s just say that I’m in a very happy place right now washing-wise.

This means I’m currently really appreciative of washing machine-related humour, and if you’re the main laundry-doer in your house I’m certain you’ll appreciate this clip that dropped into my inbox the other day. HI-larious.

This machine is the Ecobubble from Samsung which allows washing at 15 degrees, using a massive 70% less energy than a 40 degree wash cycle. It mixes air and water to create bubbles allowing the detergent to quickly penetrate clothing. This means less energy, a smaller wash cycle and less wear-and-tear to clothing.
God I love laundry.

This is a sponsored post, but I still love it.
